Staff development activities are conducted in a spiral and progressive way throughout the school year – (1) the staff development program during summer vacation, (2) a series of staff development meetings within the school year, (3) weekly collaborative lesson preparation and (4) mentoring support for new teachers. Teachers are provided with ample opportunities to learn and revisit the school’s vision and mission, renew their self-concept and perceptions, expand and improve their professional expertise, learn from each other, and acquire systems thinking for solving problems.
